Developmental Gynecology

Preface

I am writing it down in the spiritual background of Surah al Kahf, which is the source of youthful vitality of the Plain Holy Book revealed to the prophet Muhammad (s). I am doing so as I chanced to spend a few nights in the Iqraa International Hospital, after the birth of my fifth child motivated by the superb Gynecology of Prophet Muhammad (s) and with the help of the European Gynecology. I intend to share with you certain scientific thoughts that are to be urgently applied in the case of pregnant women and newborn babies. I am of the firm conviction that if we ignore and hesitate to discuss these matters, our new generation will be totally ruined in every aspect by systems of medicine that do not have right guidance from the Qur’an. In particular, I am sharing with you the awareness that our women and children will be rendered very much weak.

Iqraa:  A word that has not been properly read.

It was three years ago, at the beginning of my wife’s previous delivery, that we made our first visit to this hospital. We were prompted to come to this hospital by the joy in seeing a campus inscribed with the very first application of Quranic medical studies and having boards proclaiming to conduct research in the same. But as the delivery approached we were almost disappointed, especially because we found that people approached the hospital only for delivery. A woman registers by the beginning of pregnancy and gets admitted at the approach of delivery. But that day this hospital, which appeared to be grand in its outward appearance, seemed to be very unexcited from within. As for the message of Iqraa, it was a sudden scientific revolution in the entire world. The Qur’an, through the verse starting with this word, served the cause of knowledge to an extent not even dreamt of by the Euro sciences.  But it was a little painful to note that an institution bearing the name  ‘Iqraa’ and claiming to engage itself, not only in its study but also in research on it, was finding it difficult to proceed with a few drowsy people on the staff. Thereafter we turned away from this hospital and arranged for delivery at another place.  Later on, as I pondered over several wonders of the Quranic system of medicine, and subsequently the message of Iqraa as the source of post modern miracles repeatedly flashed through my mind, this hospital did not disappear from my mind. It was at this time that the hospital occupied newspaper columns through subjects such as anti-suicide counseling, diabetic clinic, cancer detection center etc. I was relieved of my earlier disappointment, and as I considered all these I felt that the hospital was slowly recouping its life and vigour.  It was during this period that we had invited a few doctors of this hospital to a lecture on Quranic Diabetology conducted at the I I M S and they had responded favourably.

Pregnancial Diabetology

The Quranic therapy that originates from Iqraa, stresses on gynecology or embryology as the most important horizon of study. Related to that is diabetes affecting pregnant women which is today a disease most relevant and critical in nature. We had discussed the various aspects of this disease at the studies conducted in connection with the seminar on Quranic Diabetology last year.  After that seminar, we admitted three batches of patients with different types of diabetes at the parent institution of IIMS and they recovered with treatment as per Prophetic therapy, and after that they were given milk with sugar added and brought back to normal life.  The Diabetologists at the Medical College examined the results of our diabetic treatment every day and that caused a real flow of diabetics to the institute. Now it follows that under the IIMS a separate institute named Ma’dinushifa Institute of Prophetic Diabetology is going to be established by the nearest months.  God willing, it will be a center for in-patient treatment of diabetes. The institute will be under the supervision of a senior physician who already had a diploma from the institute and who acquired practical training on prophetic therapy at the aforementioned three camps.   A special department of this type can be started at this hospital exclusively for the pregnant women who are diabetic.  This can subsequently be presented as an institute for higher studies in Quranic diabetology for the diabetologists and can be developed into a special centre for those who have pregnancy complicated due to diabetes. Thus, when this hospital changes its present situation and becomes a great institution exclusively for this purpose, its authorities can loyal to the name board erected on it.

After the three camps mentioned above, the result of treatment given to a girl named Rayana who was in a very critical condition and hence had to be cared intensively deserves special mention here.  Earlier she had suffered a lot due to diabetes, and it occurred that the fetus died.  The treatment of her diabetes was based on a unique method that we formulated on the strength of Quranic Diabetology and the expertise of our physicians.  Further, we were not satisfied with the blood test showing reduced glucose content; instead, we wanted to confirm it with tests such as insulin assay and C peptide etc. and then only did we stop her treatment upon which she returned to normal life. Now, after several months no complaint had been reported of her. It was with great strain and hard work that our institute could make this achievement. There is a particular reason for that, as indicated above:

Special formulation: 

These days, ordinary hospitals cannot do it, for they go behind multi-specialization. It is the case with this hospital also which for this reason cannot bring about special results in any matter. At the same time, as a hospital bearing a name suggestive of the beginning of Quranic sciences, it should be able to devise special methods of treatment. Otherwise, there is no justification in running such a large hospital only for control of diabetes and treatment of pregnant diabetics on the same lines as many other hospitals in this city. On the other hand, when it becomes a lively source of help to the coming generations by imparting special attention to the treatment of pregnant diabetics and thus proves itself to be efficient and successful beyond the failures of Euro diabetologists, then it shall become a hospital very much indebted and duty bound in the history of mankind.

Psychogenic Gynecology:

Pleased about the present liveliness of this hospital, we came here for the sixth delivery of my wife. The Gynecologist whom we consulted impressed and delighted my wife’s mind with her excellent conduct. In this regard we had discussed a lot the theory ‘the pregnant woman’s well-being and trouble-free delivery through mental happiness.’- a theory very much stressed in the prophetic system of treatment. Being a person trained in Unani System of medicine and in prophetic therapy I could discuss it with my wife elaborately.

Today the greatest trouble with pregnant women is that there is dearth of opportunities for support and mental relief to them, and, on the other hand, there are many to frighten them. Even doctors are inclined to despising and frightening them even at the second delivery. This renders their minds very feeble.  They lose their dignity, which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) described as the best of feminine character. (They become incapable of more child bearing and delivery.).  As a remedy for this the IIMS has launched a remarkable package based on prophetic system of medicine. This package aims at building women’s capacity to bear and give birth to more children with greater will power. This very humble package, which includes conduct of classes, giving instructions, counseling and distribution of medicine, has turned out to be a great success. So, I would definitely suggest that this hospital implement such a program with all its possibilities, may, I am tempted to say that this hospital should be able to do that, because it is named after that chapter of the Holy Qur’an which dissects and describes the divine qualities of Rubuubiyyah and Khaliqiyyah. Hence the authorities of this hospital shall definitely be able to provide extraordinary will and strength to modern women who are now reduced and rendered feeble by the pressure of circumstances. There are many authentic works on Quranic Medicine. It is only when we are prepared to conduct a really modern research on them that we will be able to do minimum justice to ‘research’ that follows the word ‘Iqraa.’ The pregnancy counseling now being given here is not at all a plus point. The reason is my own experience:

I came to Iqraa Hospital along with my wife at the beginning of her sixth pregnancy. Several times we were being approached as though with a question, “ Why getting pregnant so many times?”  Finally when the doctors called us together and talked they began to say; “ Now one cannot deliver so many times as in the past”.  May be because they noticed my beard and cap they started the counseling with the words, “Religion permits birth control where it is necessary.” when, in the light of gynecology, I asked them about the harmful side effects and possibility of diseases that follow, I did not get a clear answer. At last, when the counseling was over I had to ask, “ Is it what the doctors should do?  Is it not proper to enthuse and encourage those who are prepared to conceive and deliver more? “

Thereafter I gave my wife a lot of advice, stating that Allah has attached more and more dignity to each delivery and so on. My wife was skeptical of this advice, probably because she had taken a gynecologist’s counseling more seriously and considered it authentic. I had to strain a lot to remove her misunderstanding. Of course, we cannot find fault with this gynecologist.  The fault is with the Euro psychology that is the base of pregnancy counseling which the Gynecologist has studied; while in the light of the Quran and Hadith it has a distorted basis. The study of pregnant women’s psychology is framed out of that and the counseling methods that follow it are full of defects.   Hence we have to implement the Quranic psycho gynecology, as coordinated between its own authentic basis and the modern form. If the present facilities in this hospital were utilized for this purpose, it would be a great example for the whole world to emulate and shall be in strict conformity with the word ‘international’ inscribed on the board. When pregnant women go on to depend upon such an institution for easy delivery through will power, we would definitely get God’s support and assistance not available from any other source, and the Qur’an therapy will be time and again proved to be a great boon to the modern world. Obviously that would lead to a situation where facilities for guidance to study and research on Quranic gynecology can be provided to holders of graduate or post graduate degree in gynecology, and thus gynecologists can be brought into contact with a syllabus that is indeed humanitarian and kind   in their field of service. When the great horizon of knowledge that the Quran gives is spread out beyond the limits of European gynecology, then a situation will arise where even the great gynecologists will wholeheartedly declare that word in the name of the hospital and beyond that and also what follows it in Surah al- Alaq,  “Allamal insana ma lam ya‘lam”. Thus the purpose and meaning of Iqraa will be realized; and women will have wholeheartedly accepted the command “Fasjud waqtarib” by becoming more energetic and giving birth to more and more children and thus the aim of Iqraa will materialize.

Prophetic Straight Caesarian:

Pregnancy is becoming a nightmare these days - increase in the number of caesarian deliveries being one of the major causes. This is due to the wrong policies of the gynecologists influenced by the commercialism of pharmaceutical companies and profit mongering hospital business.

As we have been consulting, the doctor had started saying before the last month itself “ this time an operation would be required as she has delivered so many times.”  As reason to support it she cited the difficulties suffered at the last delivery.   But I told my wife that it would not be necessary, and that she would have an easy delivery, with the courage ands firmness of mind through prayers and medicines advised by the prophet.  I persuaded her to do that. Hence, at a later time, when the doctor indicated that her uterus has no capacity for another delivery and hence an operation to stop conception also was necessary, she was quick to tell the doctor, “I want to deliver again”. Subsequently, after spending several days with prayers and medicines as per the prophetic gynecology, we sensed some restlessness the day before, went to the hospital, saw the doctor and got admitted. My wife spent the night worried and nervous as the doctor had said, “ we shall see if there is sufficient pain, or else we shall have a surgery.”  Simultaneously she went on praying for proper pain and easy delivery. Before noon I gave her some medicines as per prophetic therapy and severe pain followed.  They took my wife to the labour room. Then without giving time for proper pain and natural delivery, a lady doctor clad in theatre dress and who was unfamiliar to me came out and approached me. She sought my permission for termination of pregnancy saying that further deliveries will be difficult for her. I objected and openly told her about my attitude towards surgery. Mine was a clear stand according to prophetic gynecology. If a woman tries to deliver the child with a spontaneous force of pressure but fails and reaches a condition wherein her life is in danger, then surgery can be the last resort – not only as permissible, but also as a compulsory recourse. The prophet himself has given   his views on surgery, where the relevant sentences read, “ you do it so that you may not die”.  These traditions are preserved in the IIMS with the name ‘Prophetic Sayings on Surgery’. The section on gynecology and obstetrics (Tibbul Ummahat) in the Prophetic System of Medicine, as it deals with childbirth it also mentions surgry.  The written records of these cases are also in our institute library.  Thus we can have recourse to surgery as the last step, when it is the only way and is unavoidable.  Under the present system surgery has three defects:

1. When it is made universal through business minded distortions it enhances fear of pregnancy in women and that makes matters more complicated. .

2. When it is conducted for easy delivery, conception also is forever terminated. Later, if the children die, or when the woman, as she regains health, feels she must conceive again, that would be impossible and she falls victim to several mental problems. That would weaken the woman physically too.

3. There is no attempt made to facilitate childbirth through the usual route – vagina – by giving any possible medical assistance. Instead, they cut open the uterus and the belly. This results in several chronic illnesses. Not only that, the woman is not able to sincerely, correctly and wholeheartedly say, “I delivered my child.”

These basic defects are enough to damage the personality and individuality of women.  On the other hand, if this hospital complex could be utilized for the most novel studies on surgical assistance as instructed by the prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and also on its modern relevance and scope, then it would be a great mission most helpful and unavoidable for women, and a service on which their very existence and growth are based.  Especially as this hospital is named ‘Iqraa’, its message would be gynecology and embryology, developed in its own unique ways and on its own methods and fields of activity, i.e. Quranic gynecology and Quranic embryology. But in my opinion this hospital has not grown into a center that ensures Quranic studies, except that it carries on the very ordinary activities just like other hospitals in the city. 

On Consultation:

I had occasion to sit in a cabin in this hospital   and examine some patients for a while.  That was with the co-operation of the hospital director, Dr. Anwar Husain. As I was there, away from my own medical Institute, in connection with my wife’s delivery, my own patients who came to see me at IIMS had begun to proceed to this place to consult me.  Knowing this he gave me facilities to examine them and prescribe remedies to them. Thus I spent a little while in the cabin used to be occupied by very eminent doctors and had talks with some graduate and postgraduate degree holders here.  Thereby I understood that they all do have some novel ambitions and the eagerness, but there was no facility for conducting any research work. According to the Qur’an research is a word to be used very cautiously. The Quranic scholars would not allow even a very careful and systematic study to be termed ‘research.’   In short, even the execution of the command ‘Iqraa’ will be only a search.  Instead a very minute journey beyond the present stereotype sciences, into the various stages of pregnancy based on the name in ‘bismi rabbika lladhee Khalaq’ alone can be termed research.  If so in this hospital building there must have been beyond all, a Quranic library and Internet searching satellite facilities. If the employees at this hospital try to become simply loyal to the declared name of this institution basing it on the Quran, explaining ‘Surah al- Alaq’ in it and conduct research on the three branches of Quranic gynecology, then they would certainly be able to do that.  Thus we would be able to dedicate this institution for the sake of God and for his devout servants as an excellent university in the name ‘International Institute for Quranic Gynecology’. That would be something unique in the entire history and thus we would be realizing our aims in life, making a contribution that is top most in grade.

 By giving such a message from the side of the IIMS to this hospital I am carrying out a mission called Irshad Tibbil Quran.  If what has led me to such an act is the birth of a girl child, whom I christened  “ Murshida Fathima “, all the old students of IIMS will take it as an example to be emulated.  Every one of them shall in his sphere of activity find out new opportunities for the propagation of Quranic Medical Science in hospitals under Muslim Managements and also in others. Hereby I appeal to all of them for the sake of God, and for his servants, in witness of Lailathul Kahf   to interfere strongly as this, and if not, to be afraid of God’s punishment for having silently watched this society going to the ruins.

Analysis of breast milk essential of today

It is must to analyse the prosperity of breast milk because that is life water of infant baby. Really breast milk give quality, strength and power to whole body, if we not bothered, that adversly effect the health of babies. It is warned by post modern paediatricians for the above purpose we wish to start an institute namely Sub-han breast milk institute and laboratory.

This is an important equipment in our institution. It using to test some general merits and demerits of breast milk. It gives report about density of breast milk, micro scopic colour ( more details about breast milk temperament) and influence of other things with in a fixed time. This GOT (General Quality Test) give a chance to further detailed test, it understand or find out any demerits in the breast milk.

CONTENTIOR

It is another main equipment in our institution. It is also known as Breast Milk Composition Analyser. It gives a detailed information about fat, protien. lactose, Solids-Non-Fat (SNF), total solids, waterdrop, and temperature within one and half minute.

IMER

It is the next item in project analysing through sub-han lab. It is an infrared analyser to test each and every Factors in breast milk through chemical methode. It is a deep testing source to know insufficiency of vitamin protien and level of Amino acide, nitrogen, non protien nitrogen. It help paediatricians to forseen some internal disease of babies and take remedial matters to safe their future life.

In this project they make some personal classes about types of breast-feeding, times, settings, diet for sufficient breast milk, and mothers nutrition level to solve all problems based on the demerits of the above reports. All classes supervised by recognised and well-qualified diaticians.

Breast feeding mother’s psychopositions will effect the production and distribution of breast milk is already proved from different studies. If breast feeding with tension and stress mindness, that causes some hormon problems and advcrsly effect the health cf baby. Moreover that give way to insufficiency of different pitutory glands of mother. This problem can be solve with this project, Psychologic breast feeding counselling. Our counsellors complete a special semester in this subject after their PG course in psychology.
